Workplace LLC Privacy Policy
Diversified Workplace LLC, and its affiliates, are committed to respecting
the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy sets forth the online data
collection and usage policies and practices that apply to the Diversified
Workplace and any other affiliate websites we have created (sometimes
referred to herein as the "Diversified Workplace Sites.”)
As
a user of the Diversified Workplace site and our affiliates, you understand
and agree that you assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the
Sites, the internet generally, and the documents you post or access, and
for your conduct on and off the Sites.
It is your sole responsibility to keep your log in and password
confidential.
Information gathered on the Diversified
Workplace Sites may be shared within Diversified Workplace partner
companies on a worldwide basis to deliver products and services. The Diversified Workplace Sites contain
links to other Websites over which we have no control. We are not responsible
for the privacy policies or practices of other Websites to which you choose
to link from our Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of
those other Websites before disclosing any information.
Fraud
Protect yourself from
Identity Theft. Never put your
Social Security Number, Banking Information, Date of Birth, or any other
confidential information on a Diversified Workplace Site. Be extremely cautious in who you give
your confidential information to because fraud and fraudulent job offers
are common on the Internet, and we will not be held responsible. The Diversified Workplace Sites will
never contact you asking for personal information. If you receive an email, phone call, or
information request like this, do not respond as it is fraud.
Collection and Use of Information by Diversified Workplace
In
some areas of Diversified Workplace, we request your contact information
from which your identity is discernible by opening an account. In addition,
we may indirectly collect information about you when you use certain third
party services, or what areas you visit on the Diversified Workplace Sites to
improve our offerings. There is also
information about your computer hardware and software that is or may be
collected by us. This information can include without limitation your IP
address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site
addresses, but this information is not linked to your personal information.
If
you refer a Diversified Workplace site, we will automatically send that
contact a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Diversified
Workplace Sites or view the job posting. We do not store this information.
Our Use of Your Information
The information gathered on Diversified Workplace, whether personal, demographic,
collective or technical, is used for the purpose of operating and improving
the Diversified Workplace Sites, and delivering products and services.
If you have provided consent for
us to do so, we may also use the information we gather to inform you of
other products or services available from us, our affiliates, or partner companies.
In addition, at the time of
registration for a Diversified Workplace account, you may have the option
to elect to receive additional communications, information and promotions.
We may use your contact information in order to send you e-mail regarding updates at the Diversified
Workplace Sites, or if you have requested information on new Diversified
Workplace opportunities and additional job postings which may be of
interest to you.
If you provide feedback on the
Diversified Workplace sites, it becomes the property of Diversified
Workplace and may be used at our discretion.
Disclosure of Personal
Information to Others
We do not disclose your personal
information to third parties; except as set forth below.
With
your consent we disclose information to 3rd parties if you
indicate interest about other opportunities, or services when you register
for a Diversified Workplace account.
We
disclose information to companies and individuals we employ to perform
services on our behalf. These
companies will have access to your personal information, but have agreed
not to disclose it.
Diversified
Workplace may also disclose specific user information in cooperating with
law enforcement in protecting the site or the users of the site. We may also pass your information on to a
third party in case of change of ownership, or bankruptcy.
Information gathered on the
co-branded Diversified Workplace sites may become the property of either
company, or both. In that instance, the use of such information by the
other company will be subject to the privacy policy of that company. We are
not responsible for that company's use of your personal information.
As part of our service, Diversified
Workplace allows employers, recruiters, and staffing agencies to purchase
access and search our resume database. Diversified Workplace is not
responsible for the privacy and data usage policies of these companies who
may access resumes on our service, or whose positions you submitted your
resume. We cannot guarantee that other parties, without Diversified
Workplace’s authorization, gain access to resume data.
You may remove your resume on Diversified
Workplace at anytime, but, employers, recruiters and others who have paid
for access to the Diversified Workplace resume database may have retained a
copy of your resume in their databases or hiring systems. We are not
responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles in
these instances.
The Diversified Workplace sites will retain all the information we gather
about you in an effort to make your repeat use of Diversified Workplace
more efficient. Users may delete
your resume from the online database, delete your profile, or close your account
at any time, in which event we will remove all our copies of your resume
from Diversified Workplace, your Diversified Workplace account information
and profile, except for an archival copy which is not accessible on the
Internet.
Public Areas of Diversified
Workplace
Posting any of your personal
information in public areas of Diversified Workplace or in the Diversified
Workplace searchable resume database, this information may be collected and
used by others over whom we have no control. We are not responsible for the
use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make
available in public areas of Diversified Workplace.
Cookies
A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a Web page
server. A cookie assists us in returning
your specific user information, and improves your user experience. If you choose to decline cookies it may
hinder performance and negatively impact your experience on Diversified
Workplace.
Use of Web Beacons
Diversified Workplace may contain electronic images known as Web beacons to
collect a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and
date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon
resides. Web beacons may not be
declined, but become ineffective by declining all cookies or modifying your
browser settings to allow acceptance or decline on a case by case basis. Third
parties are not permitted to use Web beacons on the Diversified Workplace
Sites.
Security of Personal Information
We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational
measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss
and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we
cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to
defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper
purposes.
PayPal is a 3rd party
partner of Diversified Workplace, and we utilize their service for all
financial transactions. PayPal is
responsible for keeping your confidential personal and financial information
private, and Diversified Workplace is not responsible for any loss in
working with PayPal.
Children
The Diversified Workplace Sites are not intended for children under 18
years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 18.
Changes to Privacy Statement
Changes to our Privacy Statement for Diversified Workplace will be posted as a notice on our website.
